Archaeological collection
The archaeological collection is located on the ground floor of the Katunarić Palace in Tisno (Tisno Municipality building), but it is currently not open to the public.
There are over 160 exhibits in the collection of archaeological finds from the locality next to the church of St. Martin, on Ivinje. The exhibits cover the periods from the 1st to the 6th century and from the 12th to the 17th century and represent items for personal use (jewelry, buttons, buckles, dishes...), but also items used in agriculture and fishing. Three-year medieval earrings and rings stand out, fitting into the general image of the jewelry repertoire characteristic from the 12th century onwards.
Also, the money, ceramics and glass that were found at the site testify that people lived there in the 1st century AD. The mentioned artifacts are exhibited in the collection.
Building elements of that time are also presented; ceramic and marble fragments, parts of interior mosaics, and stone objects of various purposes.
