Contribution to the valorization and promotion of cultural heritage and tourist attractions in the area of Tisno
The project "SALUTI DA TISNO" is dedicated to the valorization of the cultural and historical heritage of Tisno municipality through the marking and description of cultural and historical heritage objects.
The project consists of two components:
Interpretation of the cultural heritage objects of the Municipality of Tisno
The first component includes objects that we recognized as potentially attractive and interesting to tourists, visitors, and the local population. These are Italian villas in the area of Tisno. During the 18th century, rich families from Italy immigrated to Tisno, who over time assimilated and mixed with the local population. 11 villas remain from that time. The idea is to mark the villas in order to present to the public, so far mostly neglected and little known, but extremely valuable heritage. By marking the Italian villas, we will open a new, innovative and unique cultural-historical route.
Digitization of heritage - Church of St. Martina and the archaeological site of Ivinj
With From Argonauta for Tisno 2022. the website of the archaeological site Ivinj (ivinj.eu) was created and it presented the historical, cultural and natural heritage associated with the said site. In order to continue to valorize the mentioned area, it is necessary to timely update and renew it with additional content, as well as to be actively present on social networks. By setting up the website of the archaeological site, all materials related to this site are gathered in one place, and by presenting the site on current social networks (Instagram and Facebook), the site becomes more present among the community. Also, the level of awareness of the significance of this archeological site among the resident population, and then also among tourists and visitors, is increasing.
